Chocolate cake – Brownie
4 eggs – separated
150 g margarine (I always use palm oil-free)/ butter
200 g dark chocolate / block chocolate – in small pieces
30 g flour
100 gr. mixed almonds
Icing sugar for dusting
Melt the margarine and the chocolate chopped into small pieces in a saucepan and then leave to cool for a few minutes.
Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff.
Beat the egg yolks with sugar for about 2-3 minutes until fluffy and gradually add the flour, melted chocolate and almonds.
Carefully fold in the beaten egg white.
Put the mixture into a springform pan and bake in a hot oven at 220 ° C for about 20 minutes.
The cake will not be higher than approx. 2-3 cm – so do not get irritated.
For me the world’s best chocolate cake – it already looks like a brownie
So enjoy or decorate with icing sugar or glaze to taste.
