Scones
Delicious scones – pure enjoyment – and done very easily
250 gr. flour
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp backing soda
½ tsp salt
60 gr butter (cold)
150 ml milk
1 egg
Mix flour, backing soda, salt and sugar in a bowl.
Add the cold butter in little pieces and mix everything with your hands, until the mass is like sand.
Push a hollow inside the middle and add the milk.
Use a fork to form a dough.
Sprinkle the surface with flour and roll out the dough (2-3 cm thick)
Use a glass (ca. 5 cm) to cut out the dough and place it on a baking sheet which is covered with baking paper.
Whisk the egg and brush it onto the scones.
Bake them by 190°C for approx. 20 minutes until their golden
