Homemade buns

300 g flour
1 p dry yeast or 1/2 cube fresh yeast
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
100 ml water
100 ml oat drink / milk

Mix all ingredients with a wooden spoon or food processor until a smooth dough is formed.
then knead for approx. 5 – 6 minutes.
Cover and leave to rest for about 1/2 to 1 hour.

Knead the dough again briefly and cut into 6-8 pieces.

Shape, brush the top with water, “dip” in grains/seeds as desired.
and cut into them if necessary – then they will pop open nicely.

I put the dough pieces in my cast iron pot, which I have lined with a piece of baking paper.
Put the lid on and bake in a 230° C top/bottom heat oven for about 20-25 minutes, depending on how brown they are.

You can also put the pastries on a baking tray – then I would bake them at 200 ° C
for about 15-20 minutes, depending on how brown they are.
